The JET Currency

Coins.Game has two internal currencies: JET and Candy. Candy is a free-to-play currency for trying out games. JET is pegged to 1 USD, making it somewhat like a stablecoin. You can play with it and exchange it for any other cryptocurrency to be able to withdraw it.

In most cases, when you win any JET (with promotions, for example), the JET is locked, and you can't use it in any way. If you win it by playing, then, of course, it isn't locked.

To unlock it, you must wager real money based on this formula:

Unlock amount = wager amount * house edge * (20+5)%

Or, to put it more understandably: in the best-case scenario, by playing games with a huge house edge (say, 10%), for every JET (or $1) you want to unlock, you must wager $40. This effectively makes the wagering requirement 40x, which sounds ok, but who wants to play games with a 10% house edge? On the other hand, by playing games with a 1% house edge, the wagering grows to 400x!

Either way, you're stuck with a very high wagering requirement or with high house edge games.

So far, I have only talked about faucets, which are free, so I could pretend to understand the high wagering. But the thing is that other promotions come in JET as well.

There are 3 bonuses you can get regularly: a daily, a weekly, and a monthly bonus. They are all calculated based on your activity in the last period (the previous day/week/month), considering the amount wagered and the games played (house edge). Based on that, you get a bonus amount in each of these bonuses.

The daily bonus can be up to 50% of your wagered amount times the house edge of the games played, while the weekly and monthly bonuses aren't explicitly defined that way, but we can assume they work the same.

These bonuses are effectively rakebacks because they return a part of your wagered amount based on the house edge of games played. The only setback is that you get this rakeback in JET, which is locked and must be wagered as mentioned above.

I think the idea behind these bonuses is interesting, and I don't know of any other casino that did things this way. But given the value of these bonuses and the requirements I have to meet to use the bonuses, I would rather have a weekly reload bonus with precise (and average) wagering requirements.

Rakeback

The last bonus type offered by Coins.Game Casino is the Rakeback. It is a part of their loyalty program, and you must be at least level 2 to claim it.

In the case of Coins.Game this actually works fine because there are so many categories that no matter what you pick, you only get a few rows of game thumbnails. If they ever add more games, this will become less useful.

There are live table games but no non-live table games, except crypto Blackjack, a part of Jetgames Originals.

Originals is another menu that features games from Jetgames. The name 'Originals' is a bit deceiving because these games aren't Coins.Game originals as they can be found in other casinos as well. Some have the provably fair feature, like Dice or Plinko, but some don't. They are designed in a more modern way like most original games are, but that's about it.
