Today there are many places where you can do League of Legends Bitcoin betting. League of Legends can be found on virtually all betting sites that have an eSports section.

There are a couple of things which you should consider when deciding between different LoL Bitcoin betting sites.

How easy it is to use – If you are new to online betting and have yet to learn all the terms and what to look out for, you should look for League of Legends Bitcoin betting sites that have a straightforward, new-user friendly interface because they will greatly improve your onboarding experience.

Bonuses – The great majority of League of Legends Bitcoin betting sites consists of various bonuses, such as welcome bonuses. Welcome bonus is a one-time bonus that you can claim shortly after registering. When picking LoL Bitcoin betting sites you should take their welcome bonus offers into consideration, since these bonuses are usually different from one another. This way you can find one that really suits your preferences.

Withdrawal – Another important thing to take into account are withdrawal terms and conditions of a particular League of Legends Bitcoin betting site, since you will most likely want to withdraw your funds as soon as possible after winning a bet. If you decide to use a bonus with your bet, there will typically be some sort of wagering requirement as well.

Other games – League of Legends Bitcoin betting is very popular and can be found on most eSports betting sites. However, as you become more experienced you will most likely want to proceed with betting on other eSports games as well.

About League of Legends

The game itself is quite complex, requiring many different skill sets and abilities. You will have to invest at least half a year in order to learn all the champion abilities and how the game works if you want to play well. There is no way around it – there are simply so many things that you need to know and keep an eye out for besides the basics. You even have to learn how to move your champion properly so that you don’t get picked out from your group by the enemy team and get killed.

Despite this, most players decide to stay since outwitting your opponent after a long battle is one of the most satisfying experiences you can have when it comes to multiplayer video games. Once you get a hang of how the game works, it becomes increasingly more interesting to watch other players play, to see what they will do in a certain situation, how they will approach the game and what their way of thinking is.

Not long after the first couple of tournaments people started to become aware of the potential that League of Legends Bitcoin betting had, considering you can bet on so many things. You can also get a really good feel for how players play, since most of the professional League of Legends players are also Twitch streamers. What makes League of Legends gambling even more fun is that you never know what kind of new tactic a certain team has come up with that will keep you on your toes and eager to keep playing. At its core, the game is much more about strategy than it is about mechanics, especially at a higher level.

Types of Bets for League of Legends Bitcoin Betting

There are quite a few aspects that you can bet on when betting on League of Legends with Bitcoin, however not every betting site supports all types of bets.

Here are the most common ones, which can usually be found at most of the websites that provide League of Legends Bitcoin betting:

Match winner – This is the most common bet type and can be found at most eSports and regular sports games where you try to predict the winner of the match.

First blood – With this bet you try to predict which team will make the first kill of the game. This event usually happens quite quickly, however there have been some instances where it took both teams more than 15 minutes to make the first kill. This usually happens when the play is high level and both teams perform exceptionally well.

First team to kill the Baron – With this bet, you bet on the team that you believe will get the Baron first. Assuming that the better team will make the kill is typically correct, although it is difficult to predict anything with certainty since there are a lot of factors to consider; which champions each team consists of and the overall playstyle of these players, for example. Someone from the opposite team can always steal Baron Nashor’s kill.

Game’s duration – You can also bet on how much time you think it will take for a certain team to destroy the enemy’s Nexus and finish the game. The length of a game averages between 25-35 min, however there have been instances where a team got unlucky (or they got outsmarted) and made all the wrong decisions. As a result, the winning team was able to gain more map control and gold, and finish the game quite quickly, in 15 min or in some rare cases even less. On the other hand, League of Legends matches can last over an hour since players tend to play safer at later points in the game due to prolonged death timers. This may, in many games, determine who wins the game. Fun fact: The longest professional League of Legends match was played for 94 minutes and 37 seconds!

In addition, you can also bet on: first team to reach 10 kills, first team to destroy the inhibitor, first team to slay Rift Herald, first team to destroy the tower, first team to slay the dragon, and even what the first dragon’s element will be.

However, these bet types can only be found on specific online League of Legends Bitcoin betting sites, in contrast to the bet types mentioned in the paragraph before, which can be found on most LoL Bitcoin betting sites.

Additionally, there is also League of Legends handicap betting and special bets like LoL accumulator bets. You can read what these bets are and what they mean in the Bitcoin eSports Betting guide.

How the Game Works

League of Legends is a pretty complex game and might prove to be quite challenging, especially if you are new to the eSports gaming scene. In this part of the article we look at how the game works, so that you can get a better understanding of it and win more when betting with Bitcoin on LoL. All the tournaments are played on a single map called the Summoner’s Rift. Each team consists of 5 players who have to pick different champions. The objective of the game is to move down the enemy lanes by killing enemy champions and destroying enemy towers. The game is won when the nexus – the enemy base – is destroyed. Before the game starts, each player picks a champion in the lobby. The champion pick depends on which lane a certain player is planning on playing on. There are 5 lanes/roles that players get to choose from:

Top laner: goes to the top lane
Jungler: goes in the jungle
Mid laner: goes to the middle lane
Bot laner (also referred to as ADC): goes to the bottom lane
Support: also goes to the bottom lane

lol map

The game is divided into three stages: early, mid and late. During the early game, players try to gain as much gold as they can by killing the enemy minions and while poking the enemy champion. In addition, they also have to pay attention to the enemy jungler since his sole purpose is to gank and help his team win lanes. Players can win a lane by killing their opponent multiple times, which grants them a significant gold advantage that allows them to purchase stronger items sooner. Items give champions special additional stats, such as more attack damage, for example.

In the mid game, teams start to group in order to gain more map control by destroying towers. Taking towers puts the team as a whole at an advantage because it grants gold to all of them. At this stage, teams also strive to make picks (killing an enemy champion that was not grouped with the enemy team or picked out from the group) that grant them gold, but more importantly they try to push into the enemy base even further. In addition, players can decide to kill the dragon, since it gives the team a stats buff. After one team kills four dragons, the Elder dragon starts to spawn (towards the end of mid game). Its buff is very powerful and the game is typically ended by the team who manages to kill it.

In the late game, most of the map is destroyed on both sides since the game is still going on and has not been won by either team in the mid game. Here, the death timers are quite long, so the teams are once again trying to make picks in order to safely get Baron Nashor – this gives them the Baron buff. The Baron buff makes their champions stronger and is also applied to the nearby allied minions which typically help the champions win the game in the next couple of minutes.
