Cronos is primarily used as a regular cryptocurrency. Users can also stake Cronos in order to minimize or in some cases exterminate fees. Furthermore, the company also has its own exchange and a blockchain to which the currency is native to.
Cronos is therefore more affordable, easier to use and has greater accessibility; transactions on their network are almost instant.
Fees on the Crypto.com exchange are based on the monthly trading volume and Cronos staking. The higher the amount of trading volume and of coins staked, the lower the cost of fees that you have to pay. If you stake more than 50,000,000 CRO you do not have to pay any fees at all! The base fee is set at 0.4% and it only gets lower from here.
Cronos was first released towards the end of 2018, but it was not until late November when it hit a massive bull run, reaching its peak at $0.9. Currently, Cronos is worth about $4.3. The fees are set and are related to the amount of assets in a specific transaction, not the value of the currency. There is no correlation between the price of fees and the coin value itself.
Crypto.com has a marketplace, where users can showcase, create, buy and sell their Crypto.com NFTs. Many celebrities, including Snopp Dogg use this marketplace to showcase their CRO NFTs.
