Vave Casino Review

At first glance, Vave Casino has very few casino bonuses. One welcome cashback, a weekly reload, and weekly free spins. But then you come across their wheel spin.

I know, I know, wheel spins are popping up in every crypto casino nowadays because they're all copying one another. But Vave has done it differently, and I like it.

This is the first thing that you can do after subscribing. Spin the wheel and get a reward. This can be $10, $100, 1 BTC, or Vave points that you can redeem for cash.

Whichever reward you get, it's locked until you make a deposit. A shame, but fair, I guess.

After this initial spin, you can use the wheel again at any deposit, where the wheel gets an upgrade with better rewards if you deposit over $100 (silver wheel), or even better rewards for deposits over $500 (gold wheel).

This time, there are only cash rewards or free spins.

And the best part is that there are no wagering requirements on these rewards!

But don't forget that you have a first deposit bonus available as well:

The cashback is credited on a Sunday after your first deposit (and play). A $20 minimum deposit is required to qualify for the bonus.

This is by far the highest first deposit cashback I have ever come across. But it's also the only one with wagering requirements.

Most casinos that offer such a bonus go up to 20% with no wagering. Like FortuneJack, for example. So, it's either more cashback with wagering or less cashback and no wagering.

As I mentioned at the beginning, there are also two weekly casino bonuses available:

• Thursday Reload: 50% up to $150 + 100 free spins
• Saturday Free Spins: up to 100 free spins

Both come with a 40x wagering on bonus. The amount of Saturday free spins depends on the deposit:

• 20 free spins for $20 or more,
• 50 for $50 or more,

Sports Bonuses

There is also a sports first deposit bonus:

This time, it's a regular first deposit bonus with a minimum deposit of $20. Wagering must be made on accumulator bets with at least 2 events and total odds of 2.5 or higher.

There is also a weekly sports tournament split into three sections, depending on your bet amounts. But basically, the more you win, the higher you rank.

Vave Casino hosts over 5,000 games from an absurd number of game providers: over 120!

Luckily, you can filter games by provider, although sadly, they aren't sorted alphabetically. But luckily, again, there is also a search bar for providers.

This is also the only way to filter games, something that similar casinos have sorted out much better. BC.Game, for example, lets you sort games by popularity or alphabetically, and will also show RTP for every single game.

What I like and think every serious crypto casino should do is that Vave Casino has in-house games. There aren't many of them, but that's not the point.

There are Crash, Plinko, Dice, Mines, and Coin Toss, covering all the important crypto games.

What I miss is that there is no provably fair feature, something that having in-house games allows you to have. Although I'm not an advocate of proving fairness by players, some find this important, so I think it's a shame that Vave didn't include this.

If you want to play provably fair games, you'll have to do with Spribe games.

Otherwise, you'll be able to find any game you desire. You can also play games for free and see your bet history in the account.

The casino lobby is also done a bit differently than what you're used to from other online casinos. Where most casinos feature different game categories in their lobbies, Vave doesn't have any games at all!

Instead, they show your loyalty progress, a scrolling banner of promotions, and casino categories like a navigation to get to the actual games.

The site is split into four categories (and menus):

1. Slots (which include non-live table games as well)
2. Live Casino
3. Pre-match Sports betting
4. Live sports betting

Sports betting is divided into pre-match and live betting at Vevo.

Both lobbies are modern and styled in their theme colors. There are over 30 sports available and the major eSports as well.

There is also the results page, or the sports statistics, which lets you see results from past matches for different sports. This is something that more and more bookmakers include nowadays, but it's still no present everywhere, so it's a nice addition.

You can use a 100% first deposit bonus for sports, which I described in the bonus section of this Vave review.

One unique feature is that they offer a separate loyalty program for sports betting. I'll get into that in the loyalty section, but this is something I haven't seen before.

In my eyes, a good crypto casino accepts lots of cryptocurrencies (not just the main five or six) and heavily takes advantage of what blockchain technology allows:

• Fast transactions with low fees and no limits
• Anonymity and few restrictions

There is a lot more, but this affects casino players the most.

Vevo Casino does a good job on most of these things. Payment limits could be better given that they transact directly on the blockchain apart from other payment methods. But let's start from the top.

Vevo Casino restricts only around 10 countries from playing and offers deposits in over 60 cryptocurrencies, making it one of the most accessible crypto casinos.

When it comes to making transactions directly on the blockchain, with no intermediaries, they sadly do that only for the major currencies, while smaller tokens are processed by sideshift.ai.

This means that smaller tokens come with longer processing times, higher fees, and worse payment limits. But I still think it's better the offer this than not at all.

The altcoin deposit feature loads forever, though. I had to use the manual redirect link each time to get to the deposit screen. Something to improve.

When it comes to user experience, apart from what I've already mentioned, I think the site works almost flawlessly.

I love that they use their own software for everything and don't rely on third parties, where everything gets copied to hundreds of other casinos.

On the other hand, the most important user experience is how the games are filtered, loaded and played. And little can go wrong if you don't offer any filtering or sorting of games. So this is one thing I missed a lot on Vave. Especially because I know they have custom software and could implement this if they wanted to.

Maybe I'm being biased, but this is what makes a good user experience for me.

They also have a Hall-of-fame page where they feature the biggest wins of the day, week, or lifetime. Not that it makes it any easier for you to win, but it's nice to see someone doing it. Sadly, I wasn't able to add my name to the list. Yet :)

Signup and login at Vave Casino are as simple as they should be in a crypto-only casino.

You only require an email to signup, deposit, play, and withdraw. So your anonymity is safe.

There is no signing up using Google or Metamask, like some casinos offer, but I prefer the old-fashioned way. More anonymous as well.

Although they reserve the right to perform additional KYC for larger transactions (like all casinos do), there is no place to enter any additional information, which already says a lot.

Both programs work similarly: every $10 bet gets you one point. For sports, this is limited to total odds of 1.3 or higher.

The casino program brings you free spins and cash bonuses with 10x wagering, and the sports program brings you additional points.

The points can be exchanged for cash bonuses in the casino program with a 5x wagering requirement and for free bets in the sports program. The exchange rate is 100 points for $1.

You get to keep your levels in the casino while the sports program resets to zero every month, but you keep your collected points.
